2018-2019
Wunderground Film Festival, in collaboration with the Verbeke Foundation, presents its first edition on Sunday, November 11, 2018.
This new initiative was set up to create an accessible international platform for experimental filmmakers. 'Experimental' is to interpret in the broad sense of the word: ranging from visually strong moving natures mortes to sober documentaries with a quirky view. The cooperation with the Verbeke Foundation provides the fertile soil for this small seed to germinate for a broad and diverse audience.
The works were selected in line with the theme of the winter exhibition of the Verbeke Foundation: 'identity'. The selection of works will be on display from November 11, 2018 until April 7, 2019.
